Burton Chace Park

Burton Chace Park is a 10 acre park in Marina del Rey that has 3 sides surrounded by the waters of the Marina. It is free to the public and located at the end of Mindanao Way. Parking is available on Mindanao at several parking lots - the parking fee can be about $15.00, cash only. Drop off is available at the front of the park. The park is also accessible via the waterbus which operates June through Labor Day in September. You can park at any lot in the Marina and get picked up a various locations at the public docks and take a boat to the park for a $1.00 one way ride. The park is operated by the Dept of Beaches and Harbors for Los AngelesCounty and includes 3 covered picnic areas with BBQs, a Community Center, and a bridge and 2 pergolas for some shade. The Community Center may be rented out for events. One of the BBQ areas may be reserved for parties. The Marina views from the edges of the park are beautiful. Looking across Basin H towards Fisherman's Village, you may see (and hear) sea lions on the docks, kayakers, stand up paddleboarders, and boaters cruising around. This is the location where you can head down to the dock to catch the Marina Waterbus during the summer for a ride across the harbor.
