Surfrider Point Breaks
The Southern swell at Surfrider Beach is what gets the crowds of surfers out to Malibu. The surf breaks from North (right) to the South (left). The surf breaks in 3 points: Third Point (the 1st break), Second Point, and First Point (the last break). First Point - consistent long, smooth wave great for long boarding. Each wave the same as the next. Second Point - North of First at the corner of the Lagoon with occasional barrels as the waves sometimes break faster here. Third Point - North side of the Lagoon with fast waves that can close out early. Good for short boards.
