Southern California - Orange County Beaches

The gorgeous white sand beaches of Orange County are laid back like Huntington Beach, environmentally conscious like Bolsa Chica, a display of fabulous wealth in the beautiful cottages of Newport Beach all along the Orange County Coast. Huntington Beach, well known as Surf City, captures that laid back aspect all along the coast. The HB message is enjoy the parks and beaches and be sure to "Pick up after yourself" - respect the environment and others as Parks Are Good For Everyone. The beaches are very clean and nice because they got the word out that they care about the beaches and parks. Bolsa Chica State Beach and Huntington State Beach are run by the California State Parks Department and the lifeguard stations are manned by their trained lifeguard staff from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Huntington City Beach includes the Pier and the famous Dog Beach where dogs are allowed on the beach with their owners to play on the sand and in the surf.
